The Capitol Anesthesiology Association has been providing care since 1973 to patients who need anesthesia. Many services are provided by Capitol Anesthesiology Association including general anesthesia, local anesthesia, and regional anesthesia. General anesthesia is performed when patients are having major surgery and need to be completely unaware of their surroundings. Regional anesthesia is performed when one area of the body need to be operated on such as an arm or leg. Local anesthesia or Monitored Anesthesia Care is a controlled anesthesia experience where local anesthetics are provided in the tissues and skin that surround the area to be operated on. More anesthesia is supplied as needed and a patient’s level of consciousness will be appropriately adjusted.
